When you click on "Listen Now" your
computer will use whatever software it
has installed and associated to
play MP3 files, on the majority of
Windows computers this will be Windows
Media Player, but it could just as
easily be Winamp or Itunes or many
others, if you want to change the player
that you use to listen to our
broadcasts then in the settings for your
Internet Browser (Internet Explorer,
Firefox, Safari, Chrome etc) you
can change the programme that is
associated with MP3 files.
Depending on the speed of your internet
connection you may experience
'buffering' this is due to the number of
computers connected at any one time to
your part of the Internet, it is often
infrequent and mosvt of the time it is
unlikely you will experience this. |
Why is the web page not displaying any
information in the News or Stock feeds?
The most likely reason for this is that the
version of Java you have on your computer
is not up to date.
Simply click on one of the links below to update your
computer with the latest version of Java or Flash.

MP3 is a popular digital music format for
sound files, that are small in size but still
reasonably high quality.
This makes it a very suitable format for
downloading or listening on
the web - audio files can be reduced to around a
tenth of their normal size without
significant loss of quality. This is achieved
by stripping out a lot of the recorded
information that our ears aren't able to hear,
like the sounds that are outside our normal
hearing range.
